Born and raised in Denver and trained as a fine artist in Boulder, I have a deep connection with photography, the outdoors and the spirit of ideas & creativity. After a short time living in Southern California, and falling in love with the light, the air and the vitality near the ocean, I have a true lust for traveling to faraway islands & costal retreats when I'm not in the city or adventuring in CO. These travels influence my life & art immensely, which you can see more of on my fine art & travel website here.
I adore living & working in the Denver community. After 20+ years of making art, photographing people, places & events, I have evolved into a visual storyteller and documentarian of the things I personally care about most; authentic and vibrant people, loving relationships, passionate and creative entrepreneurs, art, yoga, travel, wellness, and events that inspire. I am incredibly grateful to help people striving to make the world a healthier, happier & better place; parents, healers, creatives & change makers.
I have been immersed in the craft of photo since the beginning, and its one of the only things that has stuck with me over the ages...square prints as a child, disk film & disposable cameras in the 80's, my first SLR at 10, high school event photographer, processing film & fiber printing in the BW dark room, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, showing artwork in galleries locally and internationally, 30 weddings per summer for years, working in a pro lab, transitioning to digital, and now owning my business for 15 years and creating images for people & organizations with purpose. I truly love this job.
Because I was trained with film, my work still embodies many of it's qualities, and I strive to keep them...simple, intimate, luminous, soft, saturated, honest, imperfect and borderline traditional. I absolutely adore bringing light to the spirit of your passion, beauty, love, lifestyle, creative work, events, stories and ideas. I believe in taking the time to create a thoughtful, spirited and easeful experience for all and would be honored to work with you. Happy to travel...anywhere, anytime, as long as our goals and desires align.
